Bath Rugby have revealed who their club captain will be for 2016/17
The honour of succeeding Stuart Hooper as the leader of the Blue, Black and Whites has gone to Guy Mercer, the openside flanker who grew up and went to school in the city.
England fly-half George Ford, who played a crucial role in this summer's historic series win against Australia, has been made vice-club captain.

Something for the Bath fans to smile about
England stars Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson have both agreed long-term extensions with Bath Rugby that will see the pair stay at the club until at least 2019.
Joseph and Watson joined Bath in 2013, making their debuts in the win over Newcastle Falcons in the opening game of the Aviva Premiership season, and have become mainstays in both the Bath and England backline in that time.
