Genia to join Bath Rugby after the World Cup!?

WALLABIES halfback Will Genia almost certainly will be playing with the Queensland Reds in 2016 as the Australian Rugby Union attempts to find creative solutions to the feared player drain overseas following next year’s World Cup.

It was reported yesterday that Genia had already signed to join English club Bath after the World Cup, but indications are that if the former Wallabies captain does play overseas in 2015-16 it will be in Japan, not Europe, and in a manner designed to ensure he will be able to return to Australia to play for the Reds in the 2016 Super Rugby tournament.
