Tom Biggs to leave Bath Rugby for Hull FC at the end of the season

Tom Biggs is to leave Bath Rugby at the end of the season and make a cross-code switch to join Super League side Hull FC.

Rumours linking Biggs with a move first arose a month ago when Hull owner Adam Pearson revealed his club were chasing a rugby union player with international experience.

Bath head coach Mike Ford moved quickly to quash the reports but the club has now confirmed Hull-born Biggs’ exit, with the former England Saxons winger heading north next summer.

“Hull approached me and I’m very excited to have the chance to try my hand at league, and especially with my local club,” said the 29-year-old.
