Bath may have welcomed a host of new arrivals at The Rec but centre Matt Banahan admits his preparations for the new season have been held up by one of his own.
While most of Gary Gold's troops returned to pre-season training three weeks ago, Banahan was busy pacing the hospital wards while wife Rebecca gave birth to their baby daughter, Lola.
The father-of-two has since returned to the normality of bleep tests and weight sessions at Farleigh House training ground, but there's also a few new faces to get accustomed to there.
Gavin Henson and George Ford have arrived to bolster the fly-half position, while Jonathan Joseph will headline the influx of four players from London Irish when he returns from his summer break after starring for England in Argentina.
