Argentinean flyer extends Bath Rugby stay

Bath Rugby are very pleased to announce that Argentinean winger Horacio Agulla has extended his contract with the Club.

Agulla - known as 'Ringo' by his team mates – was a star performer last season, consistently making yards with ball in hand and proving both intelligent and aggressive in defence. With a level of power that belies his stature, he has quickly become a favourite of the Rec faithful, as well as a regular name on Gary Gold's team sheet.
Speaking from his native

Argentina, where he is preparing to take part in the second Rugby Championship, Agulla said: "I am extremely happy to have extended my Bath contract. I love playing for Bath and I think the environment is perfect for a player who wants to get better. I look forward to getting back there and joining a really exciting squad."

Gold, Bath's Director of Rugby, added: "Ringo is a top class player and a great bloke to have in our squad. He helps the youngsters, he adds to the culture of the place and, most importantly, he delivers time and again on the field. We are very happy to have extended his deal."
