George Ford to Bath!?

George Ford is on the verge of leaving Leicester after becoming disillusioned with his lack of first-team chances as he competes with England's Toby Flood for the No 10 shirt.
Northampton and Bath, where Ford's father, former England defence coach Mike Ford, is on the management team, are watching the situation and may move for the 20-year-old in the January window.

Sources say Ford would rather stay at Welford Road, but only as first-choice stand-off. With Flood blocking his path and Leicester reluctant to play the man voted IRB World Junior Player of the Year 13 months ago, a final decision will be made by Ford by the end of the year.
