Bath serious about Sevens

New Bath boss Gary Gold insists that he is looking a strong squad for the JP Morgan Premiership Rugby Sevens Series.

Bath are determined to do well in this seasons' competition, especially as the Rec will host the final on August 6.

To get to finals day, Bath will first have to finish in the top two of Pool C at Kingsholm on July 26 - with Gloucester, Exeter and Worcester also bidding to progress.

However whereas the competition has been used to develop younger players in the past, Gold has claimed he will be taking the Series seriously.

And that means Kyle Eastmond, Tom Biggs and Guy Mercer are all in the mix to play.
