Bath Rugby's pre-season friendlies have a decidedly Welsh theme this year, as we host London Welsh (subject to Championship play-off results) then Llandovery and Cardiff Blues at the Recreation Ground.
London Welsh visit the Rec on Friday 10th August, kick-off 7.30pm, for what will be the first run out for new Head Coach Gary Gold's squad. The game should be an entertaining run out against the side who have reached the Championship play-offs.
Friday 24th August will see another double header at the Rec, as Bath United kick their season off against Llandovery at 5.30pm, and the senior side complete their pre-season preparations against Cardiff Blues in a reverse of last year's fixture. As with previous double headers, one ticket covers entry to both games.
In between the two home games, Bath will travel to the Liberty Stadium, where latest signing Paul James could be in contention to face his old Club sooner than expected as the West Country side do battle with the Ospreys.
And don't forget that rugby action returns to the Rec this summer on Friday 3rd August with the finals of the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series.
