The last time these two sides met, Bath Rugby owner Bruce Craig was forced to witness a torrid display at Sixways – a display whose only crumb of comfort was that a replacement prop did a manful job filling in at second row.
But what a transformation. Bath may have been a bit stodgy in the opening ten minutes of Saturday's clash at The Rec but, after they had been slapped around the chops by Tom Arscott's try for Worcester, it was an afternoon of attacking panache and high-skill, high-tempo rugby.
