Ankle injury forces Bath Rugby flanker Andy Beattie to retire

Bath Rugby back rower Andy Beattie is to retire from rugby with immediate effect due to an ankle injury sustained in January.

The 33-year-old's decision has been made following advice from two medical specialists and comes after 238 appearances in blue, black and white.

  1. Because you feel like something could be broken please see a Podiatrist (a doctor that specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases and disorders that relate to the foot and ankle such as charcot foot) right away so that they can evaluate the situation further.
