We criticise ourselves more than the chairman does, says McGeechan as Bath Rugby end poor run

Sir Ian McGeechan says Bath Rugby chairman Bruce Craig never turned up the pressure on him during the club's recent run of poor results - a run that came to a decisive end today with a 30-3 demolition job on London Irish.

Speaking after Bath delivered comfortably their best performance of the season in front of packed house at The Rec, the Bath director of rugby said: "We are more critical of ourselves than Bruce is, and the players are more critical. We've got a good environment and he knows there are a lot of things that are right. We've just got to make sure we deliverand benefit from what's there."

  1. Well said Sir Ian. The only way is now up. Let's target a spot in the top four and qualification for the Amlin Cup.
