Heartbreak for Bath Rugby as Montpellier snatch late victory

A last-gasp try broke Bath Rugby hearts as Montpellier snatched a 24-22 victory in a thrilling Heineken Cup clash.

Bath led 10-7 at half-time and extended their lead when Ryan Caldwell grabbed his second try of the game.

  1. OK so our Heineken Cup campaign this season was a disaster. There is, however, one game left against Glasgow next week in the Rec. Let us not forget that it was Glasgow who started our misery in this season's campaign in that first game in Firhill. Let us return the favour to Glasgow by beating them convincingly thereby stopping them from getting into the Amlin Cup and kick starting the remainer of our own season in the Aviva premiership.

  2. Can't see this happening. Glasgow will be highly motivated for this game to get into the Amlin Cup. Bath have little or no motivation other than pride to put up any type of performance. European rugby is over for us for this season and it is unlikely we will qualify for next season's competition either. We need to re-build the team.
