Bath flanker Francois Louw hopes Bath's long wait for cup success may be over after crushing win over Northampton

Francois Louw may be a newcomer to Bath but the South Africa flanker is aware of the burden of expectation at the club which the players have to shoulder.

Bath have not won a domestic title since they lifted the cup for the 10th time in 13 seasons in 1996, but an emphatic 46-14 win against depleted Northampton at The Rec on Saturday suggested that the wait might soon be over. “Bath are a world-renowned club,” said Louw. “The season has not gone well but this game showed what we can bring to the table.”
