Bath scrum-half Michael Classens knows club needs to step up to avoid disaster this season

Bath may have the wealthiest owner in British rugby and will soon boast some of the best training facilities in the world but as a club they have always been built on big characters and a bloody minded determination.

Currently 10th in the Premiership, Bath were sent hurtling out of Heineken Cup contention last Saturday when they were crushed 51-27 by Leinster at the Aviva Stadium with the home side virtually 'declaring' on the hour to save further humiliation.
