I am delighted to see Matt Banahan at 13. I expect that Sir Ian wants to target the Leinster 13 who is a very inexperienced player (Eoin O'Malley). Don't know much about him but he looks quite small and I expect Banahan to run through him whenever the opportunity presents itself. The critics have written us off for this game but that is when Bath can be most dangerous. What better way to re-invigorate our season by beating the current European champions on their home ground in front of an enormous crowd.
ReplyDeleteThats what you said last week and how did that turn out? Leinster even played badly and still won. O'malley has about 40 caps for leinster and played against Rougerie in Clermont last year, played great too.
