VitaMan, the natural and high performance men’s grooming range is delighted to announce a new partnership agreement with Bath Rugby for the 2011/2012 season. Bath Rugby is one of the games most historic and successful clubs and home to many of the world’s elite rugby players including England internationals Lewis Moody, Matt Banahan and Lee Mears. Bath Rugby was recently bought by Bruce Craig who has ambitions to make the club a leading force in world club rugby.
The deal incorporating advertising, branding, and hospitality is the first of its kind for VitaMan in the UK and indicates the commitment to the brands ongoing growth and success in the male grooming market. The partnership will enable the VitaMan brand to reach a new and wider audience, with Bath Rugby appearing regularly on TV and in the National Press with the logo visible around the ground.
VitaMan will supply personal products to all players and coaching staff throughout the season; provide professional product for the new state of the art training ground at Farleigh House and provide product for home matches held at the historic Recreation Ground (The Rec). With VitaMan’s UK office based on the outskirts of Bath, it is also a great opportunity to connect with the local community and educate the club supporters. Initiatives will include regular educational features in match day programmes and an awareness campaign during ‘Movember’ (the month formerly known as November). Movember is a moustache growing charity event held during November that raises funds and awareness for men's health. VitaMan has created a mo-growing team for the event and the aptly named VitaMo team is captained by Bath Rugby player, David Flatman.
Neil Owen Director of VitaMan UK says “We are thrilled to be partnering with Bath Rugby for the season as it allows us to communicate the benefits of male grooming to both fans and professional athletes. Educating men on how to better look after themselves has always been core to the brand strategy and partnering with Bath Rugby is a fantastic vehicle to help deliver this message. We look forward to a successful season.”
