Skipper Stuart Hooper is challenging his Bath Rugby side to "shock" their absent internationals with the quality of their early-season form.

Six Bath players will miss the start of the Aviva Premiership while on World Cup duty. The England quartet of Lewis Moody, Matt Banahan, Lee Mears and Davey Wilson will be joined in New Zealand by new signings Francois Louw (South Africa) and Anthony Perenise (Samoa).
