Rugby league star Kyle Eastmond will sign for Bath at the end of the 2011 Super League season, St Helens coach Royce Simmons has revealed.
The England scrum-half, 21, has been linked with a cross-code switch to The Rec for months, with Sale Sharks also believed to be in the hunt for his signature.
Bath head coach Steve Meehan indicated that, if Eastmond did sign for the club, he would be utilised either on the wing or at full-back initially.
"I think he will be going to Bath to play rugby union,” Simmons told BBC Radio Merseyside. “He spoke to the players [on Monday] and told them he had made a decision, a tough decision for him to make. He has decided to go to Bath.
