McGeechan backing Eastmond

Bath director of rugby Sir Ian McGeechan is convinced that Kyle Eastmond will make a smooth transition from league to union.

The 21-year-old St Helens scrum-half will become the latest high-profile code-switcher when he joins Bath in the autumn.

Bath performance director Sir Ian McGeechan tells BBC Radio Bristol the club will be "patient" with rugby league signing Kyle Eastmond.

  1. Sorry but homework not done properly on this player, if anybody in Bath thinks Eastmond is hard working they are believing him and his agent. Nobody at St Helens would ever have called Eastmond hard working; Exciting, temperamental, injury prone, arrogant, biscuit boned but never ever hard working.
