Bath Rugby's next big signing - Francois Louw?

According to Nick Blofield the Springbok international is thought to be being lined up as a replacement for Bath's outgoing captain Luke Watson.

"He's in the mix," said Blofeld. "I imagine he'll be in the South Africa World Cup squad so it would probably be next season some time but we'd love to bring him too."

Louw formed part of an impressive loose trio with Schalk Burger and Duane Vermuelen during the 2010 Super 14 campaign and his excellent performances were rewarded with a well deserved call up to the national side for the mid year tour. Louw is a physical player with a high work rate who is not afraid to take on his opponents. A powerful ball carrier and strong in defence, Francois offers the Stormers an added dimension in attack.
