Match Reaction

Head coach Steve Meehan admitted it had been a bit of a 'slog' at times but said that Bath's 12-9 victory at Exeter Chiefs demonstrated the character of his side.

Bath found themselves under pressure in defence on several occasions during the match but held firm and forced a number of turnovers.

Meehan also praised the composure of Olly Barkley, who kicked the four penalties that secured the victory.
