This is Bath - Watson's reasons for leaving and is Butch on his way back to SA too?

Bath Rugby have fended off an attempt by the Johannesburg-based Golden Lions to get Butch James back in South Africa – but only for the time being.

A delegation from the club flew to England last week and held meetings with James and Bath chief executive Nick Blofeld. Their aim was to extricate the World Cup-winning fly-half from his Bath contract, which runs until 2012, so he could return to his hometown in time for the start of the Super 15 competition in February.
