PETER SHORT: Derby defeat was a bitter pill to swallow

It's been a testing week after a frustrating and disappointing performance in Friday's derby game with Gloucester.

When May rolls around and we look at our points total we'll know that we coughed up the chance of four or five home points. These points will be worth no more than any other points amassed on our campaign but the question remains as to why derby defeats cause so much pain in the cockles of our hearts – often in the sub-cockle region, sometimes in the kidneys, sometimes the liver and even in the colon.
