Before the defeat to Leicester Tigers, Bath fly-half Butch James was imploring his team-mates not to regard just having reached the play-offs as a reward for a successful season.
Success would be winning through to the final at Twickenham and lifting the Premiership title and trophy at HQ, he insisted.
