Assessing the form as final play-off hurdle approaches

BATH RUGBY

Realistically, it was always going to be unlikely that Bath would come away from Welford Road with four championship points at the weekend.
But it wasn't so much the defeat as the manner of it that will have sown a few doubts in the Bath psyche.

However, Steve Meehan's men – provided they can shuffle their resources to negotiate three testing games in eight days – have a favourable run-in, with three games at home and one at Twickenham against Wasps.

Even so, barring a couple of major slip ups by London Irish, they may have left their tilt a fraction too late.

Games to play: 4
Current points tally: 42
Tom's predicted final points tally: 57
Likely Premiership outcome: 6th

  1. We are on a hiding to nothing if we keep losing our own lineouts.

  2. The great thing about predictions is that no one ever seams to get them right! So maybe we can finish Guinness Champs :)
